Dynamic organizations are constantly weighing key decisions as part of their planning and operations—and it is critical to do so with all the relevant information. Telling the story before providing a cogent recommendation is essential to securing buy-in from the Board of Directors, investors, employees, customers and the communities in which you operate. Developing protocols for how information flows through an organization ensures information is properly processed and available for decision making.
KeeferAngus provided support to a non-profit society that provides housing services in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. As the organization grew and its services expanded, the Board of Directors became concerned that it had lost its focus. Data from the organization’s funding contracts and marketing materials was analyzed in conjunction with insights gained by interviewing employees from the across the organization. The result was an improved understanding of the links between the services being offered and how these met the needs of the organization’s clients. This data was invaluable for determining the future strategy of the organization and supported a refocusing of priorities.
